Advisory Board Facilitator / Trusted Business CoachThe Alternative Board is a global network of entrepreneurs who help each other be successful.As a Franchisee of The Alternative Board, you have your own area and facilitate an Advisory Board of Business Owners, in which they ask each other questions and offer advice. You'll also provide 1-on-1 Strategic Business Coaching.You will get comprehensive training of the effective tools and systems from The Alternative Board and in-field support when you launch your new business.Who are we looking for?Someone who wants to impact positively their community, improving the lives of business owners, their families, and teams. This will be accomplished by helping them to clarify and set their vision, goals, strategies, and plans, and supporting and holding them accountable to achieve them.Someone with relevant business experience. Most likely you will have at least 20 years under your belt in either a senior corporate role, as a previous owner of businesses, or as a business coach or consultant.Someone who is attracted to the idea of owning their own business and is enthusiastic to build their business to the level you desire. This means getting out into your local business community, meeting people, and sharing our story.Someone with a positive mindset. We are an organization of business leaders who are striving to help our local business communities. We often find ourselves as the "rock" in the lives of business owners, and it is so important that we show up with a can-do approach.Someone who is a strong communicator and team player. Our team of franchisees in New Zealand and globally practice what we preach. We talk weekly, meet face to face every quarter, and offer one another mutual support and guidance. You will be "in business for yourself but not by yourself."What will you be doing?Facilitating several monthly 4-hour meetings of non-competing business owners in your local community. Following our proven methodology, you will enable each board member to get great value from each meeting by encouraging new ideas and diverse thinking that will help improve those members' businesses and lives.Coaching each of your board members every month and, by being their "accountability buddy," ensuring that what they promised to themselves (and their board) is implemented.Using our industry-leading Business Builders' Blueprint, you will help your board members to understand themselves and their businesses, identify and achieve their key goals in close alignment with their senior staff, and celebrate their achievements.As, over time, you become the trusted advisor to your board members, you will find additional consulting opportunities arise. Perhaps: running monthly management meetings, facilitating workshops on team alignment, or providing some education in your area of expertise.And, as businesses don't build themselves, you will be involved in marketing and sales activities: attending networking events, running events, describing the features and benefits of The Alternative Board to business owners, being active in social media, and so on.What Next?If you believe that you have what it takes to join us, please send your CV explaining why you would suit the role.
