About the role TeWananga o Aotearoa is looking for an Advisor Tauira Recruitment that willcontribute to the annual recruitment of tauira at Te Wananga o Aotearoa. Thesuccessful applicant will be part of a team that will build and maintainrelationships within the community. The role will also require the successfulapplicant to bring innovative thinking when promoting Te Wananga o Aotearoathrough events, community projects and marketing campaigns. Please note this is not an HR position.
Thisposition can be based from our Palmerston North Wananga Campus and you willsupport our wider Horowhenua region, therefore, frequent travel across thisregion is required. The successful applicant MUST have a Full NZ Driver'sLicense, comfortable driving long distances, and readily available to doovernight trips.
Youwill have proven experience-building relationships with a range of audiencesincluding young people, Maori, Pasifika and/ or migrant communities.
Aboutyou ADiploma in business or marketing-related field;Atleast three years' experience in marketing, recruitment or education;Excellentrelationship management and communication skills and be confident to speakin public;Anunderstanding of marketing and sales concepts is an advantage; andAsound understanding of brand representation in the community.A NewZealand full drivers licenseAs akaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in culturalactivities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture andtikanga) is desirable.
