You will be responsible for the overall environmental monitoring associated with this significant 27km highway.The ProjectWellington Gateway Partnership (WGP) has selected a Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and HEB Construction (CPB HEB JV) to undertake the design and construction of the Transmission Gully Project Works.The TG Project involves the construction of a new highway through challenging terrain that will require approximately 6 million cubic metres of earthworks, significant stream diversions and vegetation clearing. The Project works include 27 kilometres of 4-lane motorway in a single road corridor, 3 grade-separated interchanges, 2 grade-separated connections, and 28 separate bridge and underpass structures.The project is in the closing out phase of completing a number of ancillary road networks, spoil site restoration, fish passages & stream works and is envisaged to take a further 12 to 18 months to complete.
