The team has responsibility for managing our properties and facilities to ensure that they operate safely and effectively for both our people and our audiovisual collections.The team champions an organisational culture that adopts strong health and safety practices and builds effective relationships with our landlord and other agencies that are critical to our property operations.We're looking for someone who is excited by the idea of taking a key role in establishing a new function focused on improving our property management and H&S practices.We're looking for someone with:About four years relevant experience with a history of achievement in supporting delivery of high-quality business documentation and services.Strong experience working closely with facilities or property managers.Exceptional ability to write and edit user-friendly business documentation including memos, reports, procedures, and guides.Strong awareness of the importance of robust H&S practices.A problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.In this role, you will work closely with the Property Operations Manager to deliver fit-for-purpose documentation to support various practices to ensure our properties operate safely and effectively. You will connect with internal kaimahi and external stakeholders to achieve agreed results.The role will see you:With support from your manager, research and write policies and procedures to ensure we are following best practice.Support the work of the Property Operations team, including maintaining lease agreements and supplier contracts, as well as coordination and administration of property projects, creating Purchase Orders, monitoring expenditure, and managing help desk requests.Manage the team and project reporting including Board reports, dashboards, and reports to management.Deliver H&S inductions for new starters and Contractors, and provide refreshers as required.Provide proactive advice around improving H&S practices, processes, and culture.Coordinate training and maintain registers including Warden and First Aider lists.Provide coordination support to the Health & Safety Committee.Champion good health and safety practices and provide input into improvements.Salary: $82,355 - $96,888 + superannuation (not prorated)This is an exciting time to join Nga Taonga as we're establishing a new team as part of a change in approach to property management.
