Advisor, Ministerial and Executive Services at Te Kawa Mataaho | Public Service Commission, Wellington - Wairarapa Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders. We have a permanent opportunity for a highly motivated advisor to join our Ministerial and Executive Services team at Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission. The position provides efficient and effective ministerial services to the Commission and its stakeholders. It is also the Commission's key liaison with the office of the Minister for the Public Service which requires oversight of complex and sensitive requests. Our purpose is to lead the State services while protecting and enhancing the standards of integrity and conduct that are at the heart of what we do. To be effective in this role you will need to have: excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly and concisely a demonstrated ability to engage with people and build effective relationships and networks an ability to manage a broad range of product deliverables an ability to deliver high quality products a strong preference to work in a team environment, with a mix of shared and individual accountabilities knowledge of the Public Service and understanding of the context for public service agencies tech savviness and be comfortable using a range of technologies or applications, eg, Adobe, Microsoft Products, Sharepoint The role will suit an experienced advisor who is confident, a quick learner, self-motivated, with strong collaboration skills and an enthusiastic and flexible mind-set.
