My career4 Year - Fixed Term An opportunity exists for a highly experienced professional with policy experience in Maori Affairs and Treaty of Waitangi issues to join the Policy Advisory Group, which has an important role in providing the Prime Minister with up-to-date information on emerging policy issues.
This skilled practitioner will work at the centre of executive government and be involved in government decision making at the highest levels.
With a depth of experience and expertise in Treaty issues and Maori Affairs public policy interests, and a deep understanding of the current social and economic issues and the political context, the ideal candidate will bring experience in Maori issues and Treaty of Waitangi claims.
Your significant experience will mean you work comfortably in a highly autonomous environment with the highest standard of judgement, integrity, and impartial advice. You will have a track record in building high trust relationships and in working with others to solve problems constructively. You must be able to analyse complex situations and policies, work under pressure and generate effective solutions for consideration by the Prime Minister, ministers, and government officials.

The indicative appointing range for this role is $218,721 - $244,453 p/a inclusive of KiwiSaver contributions.
