The Investigation and Enforcement Team (as part of Medsafe) is primarily responsible for investigation of breaches of the Medicines Act and enforcement actions, including prosecution and border control activities relating to the importation of therapeutic products.
The Team works with other teams within the Compliance Management Branch and Medsafe to provide an integrated approach to compliance activities.
Ko ake mahi - What you'll do The advisor is responsible for providing timely, appropriate and correct technical advice to members of the public and stakeholders about importation of therapeutic goods and ensuring that such imports are compliant with legislation.
Decisions will be based on technical, and legislative knowledge.
They will provide technical support to the IET and other areas of Medsafe as well as maintaining databases.
