Position Title: Advisor Engagement Location: Permanent Wellington based role Salary: Midpoint of $79,653 (actual salary dependent on your experience) About Us: At Manatu Hauora (Ministry of Health), we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. The Communications and Engagement group is a core part of the Government and Executive Services directorate, leading and supporting all Ministry communications and engagement and associated processes and channels. What You'll Do: The Advisor Engagement will work as part of a strong team to support the Ministry in developing and maintaining relationships with our most important stakeholders using best practice advice and tools. You will advise on the strategic and tactical approach to engagement for the Ministry to support our role as steward of the health system. You will have experience in running engagement strategies and frameworks using established models; collecting intelligence and interpreting and analysing it using business intelligence tools and insights. You will be excellent at managing relationships and have worked successfully in diverse cultural contexts. What You'll Bring: Experience as an engagement practitioner Demonstrated experience working successfully in diverse cultural contexts, with knowledge of Maori and Pasifika relations to improve equity of outcomes.
