Full time, Wellington based role
Remuneration range $80,516 - $84,989 p/a including KiwiSaver contributions.
This is a newly established role with a dedicated focus on supporting DPMC's response to Phase 2 of the Royal Commission into the lessons learned from Aotearoa New Zealand's response to COVID-19.
This role will have a focus on providing advice to support DPMC to respond to the Inquiry in a well-managed and timely manner. This includes providing advice on related COVID-19 material, undertaking searches and processes to identify relevant documents and supporting engagement with stakeholders to assist and draft responses to requests for information from the Royal Commission.

The role would suit someone who can demonstrate the following capabilities:
Experience providing advice to decision makers,
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write documents that are clear, concise and in plain language,
Ability to proofread, edit, and quality check the work of others,
Ability to demonstrate strong relationship management skills, often in complex and challenging environments,
Strong organisational skills, energy, enthusiasm, adaptability, and ability to work to strict deadlines and cope with changing demands and requirements in a team environment,
High level of judgement, discretion and tact, and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
In addition, the successful person will be equipped with the following attributes:
Ability to build trust and confidence with a broad range of stakeholders,
Comfortable facilitating a collaborative work environment, with a constant eye on completing the objective and goals of the team,
Highly organised and structured approach to managing functional work areas in a context of ambiguity and change.
