This Vision is brought to life by our Values – Care, Respect, Integrity, Performance and Teamwork – which put our people, host communities, the environment and our stakeholders at the forefront of our decision-making.Check us out - Description This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a multi-national organisation and work at New Zealand's largest gold mine, Macraes.As the Advisor - Communications for Macraes, you'll work with the NZ Manager to implement the company's communication strategy for external communications, and work with departments on-site at Macraes to ensure information is shared internally in a timely, and intentional manner.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Develop and execute a communications plan within established internal systems and procedures.Developand shareinformation for external audiences and help others get the most out of external communications systems by offering support and advice including advertising.Assist in the management of brand(s) by implementing brand plans and guidelines and measuring effectivenessWrite drafts and edit content in line with organisational style guidelines to format and publish information on websites, social media, and in print.Organise and prepare complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Power Point, InDesign and InCopy. Also responsible for gathering and summarising data for special reports.Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.Prioritise your own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.Qualifications Degree or relevant qualifications in Communications or Design related field.Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.Experience:3 years' experience in a similar position incorporating the likes of Written/verbal Communication, Brand Management and Development, Reporting, Policy and Procedures, Video/Web Page Creation and Editing, Customer and Market Analysis, Commercial Acumen and Project Management.Experience with InDesign and InCopyAdditional Information Join New Zealand's largest gold mining operationEnjoy the flexibility of a 9-day fortnightLive and work in the stunning Otago region of NZOGC VALUES: CARE | RESPECT | INTEGRITY | PERFORMANCE | TEAMWORKOceanaGold is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.If you share the same values and have what we are looking for, please apply online now via our careers website: close 15 May 2024 .
