Whanau Mercy Ministries Trust, a charitable trust within the Catholic Church in Aotearoa New Zealand, is seeking an Adviser. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing a programme of work in response to the overall organisational direction determined by the WMM Trustees.
The ministries (or works) of WMM are:
Education: St Mary's College Auckland; Carmel College Auckland; St Mary's College Wellington; St Catherine's College Wellington working together under Whanau Mercy Education Limited; Villa Maria Christchurch; and Te Ngakau Kotahi Ltd (the Mercy Collective common property maintenance/development pool for the 5 Mercy Colleges).
Health: Mercy Hospital Dunedin; and Te Korowai Atawhai Mercy Hospice Auckland.
Community Development: Te Waipuna Puawai – Auckland; Mercy Villas – Upper Hutt; and Coolock Cottages - Dunedin.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Ko te Hapai O / Executive Director in the development of strategic and operational project plans.
Development and successful delivery of projects.
Advise and take operational lead on the output of projects and take the lead for operational areas, as agreed with the Ko te Hapai O / Executive Director, on an ongoing basis.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
Commitment to Catholic values and practices.
Relevant qualification in a related field.
