Advertising Specialist

Details of the offer

About Us: Memsaab is a growing, medium-sized business that specializes in Indian women's clothing. We offer a range of traditional and modern ethnic wear, including kurtas, salwar kameez, and suit sets, catering to a culturally diverse customer base in New Zealand. We are looking for an Advertising Specialist who is passionate about fashion and has the creativity and skills to drive our marketing efforts across various platforms, helping us expand our reach and achieve our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Execute Advertising Campaigns: Develop and implement advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, social media, in-store), ensuring alignment with Memsaab's sales objectives. You will manage every stage of the campaign, from creative concept to execution, ensuring that the messaging resonates with our target audience.

Advise on Advertising Strategies: Work closely with the business owner to provide strategic advice on advertising initiatives. You will help shape campaigns that effectively promote Memsaab's products and reach the right customer segments, increasing brand visibility and engagement.

Coordinate Advertising Production: Manage the production of advertising materials, including collaborating with external creatives (photographers, designers) and internal team members to produce content such as visuals, copy, and media assets. Ensure all materials are delivered on time and within allocated budgets.

Run Campaigns Across Social Media Platforms: Plan and run targeted campaigns on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Tailor content to each platform to optimize reach and engagement, while tracking campaign performance to continually refine and improve results.

Monitor Consumer Preferences & Market Trends: Stay up to date with consumer behaviour, fashion preferences, and market trends in the Indian ethnic wear industry. Collect and analyse customer data to predict future demand and make recommendations on advertising approaches that reflect these insights.

Identify Market Opportunities: Conduct research to identify market opportunities for new and existing products. Use insights from market research to guide advertising campaigns that align with customer needs and preferences.

Support Memsaab's Growth: Help drive the business's growth by preparing and executing effective advertising strategies that increase customer engagement, both online and in-store. You will play a key role in shaping how Memsaab is perceived in the market and how we reach potential customers.

Budget Management: Manage the advertising budget effectively, ensuring that campaigns are cost-efficient while delivering the best possible return on investment (ROI). Track spending and optimise resources to ensure Memsaab's marketing efforts remain within the allocated budget.

Assist with Overall Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the business owner and the small team to contribute to the overall marketing strategy. Your input will be valuable in decisions regarding product focus, pricing, sales promotions, and identifying the best channels for customer outreach.

Qualifications & Skills:

Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree or higher to be considered for employment.

Minimum three years in advertising or marketing with proven campaign management skills.

Proven experience in advertising or marketing, preferably in a retail or fashion-related business.

Expertise in running advertising campaigns across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Experience managing advertising campaigns from conception through to execution, including creative development, media placement, and budget management.

Ability to work within budget parameters and maximize the effectiveness of available resources.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics to track performance and optimize campaigns.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment.

Passion for fashion and willingness to engage with the cultural aspects of Indian ethnic wear is a bonus.

Why Work with Us?

Work in a culturally rich, close-knit environment where you can have a direct impact on the growth of the business.
