As we gear up for our biggest summer season yet we are looking for a bright, passionate, and driven administrator to join our team in a permanent full-time role.
This is a varied role for an excellent administrator with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle lots of balls at once.
Our Logistics Coordinator oversees all the equipment and gear that is needed to run our trips.
They coordinate our guides on their pack-out and pack-in days, provide admin assistance to our ops team and help solve on-the-road problems as they arise.
The perfect person would… Be systematic and detail-oriented – you'll be able to work quickly, calmly and accurately in a role that has a lot of moving partsBe exceptionally organised – you'll love to dot your i's and cross your t's.Take ownership of your position and prioritise your workload.Have an eye for opportunities and be driven to find (and make) improvements.Take pride in your work and be comfortable with accountability.Have excellent literacy and computer skills.Be able to solve problems independently, with a focus on solutions and improvement.
Be tech savvyHave some practical skills - can you put up a tent and Be calm, positive and unflappableA typical week in this role looks like this: Coordinating our guides on their pack-in and pack-out days for their trips - make sure that everyone is in the right place, at the right time, with the right things!Making sure all our gear and equipment is accounted for, assigned to the right trips and ready to go out with our guidesPreparing trip paperworkUpdating gear and safety registersOversee the organisation of our gear shedBe the first port of call for the guides when issues arise on trips and work with the wider ops team to solve problems.
This is a full-time role working Sunday to Thursday based in our office in Arrowtown.
The contract will run until the end of April 2025 but there could be the opportunity to move into a permanent position after that if it suits you and the company.
