Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, confidential administrative support services.

The role/Te mahi This Administrator role based in our University Union Catering Team has a wide scope of responsibilities supporting the wider portfolio with generalist administration tasks through to providing financial administration, invoicing and purchasing for our café outlets.
The University Union provides three key services: college catering, retail operation, and food outlets in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
This is a pivotal role ensuring the day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively.
As part of the wider team of Administrators working across campus within Divisional Services and Administration, you will have excellent organisational skills, able to plan, manage, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
You are enthusiastic and relish work that involves delivering timely, quality customer service.
Always willing to learn, you are adaptable with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
We are looking for someone with:
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated commitment and experience in providing a high level of service delivery.
• Sound problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop and implement solutions.
• Self-directed with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously.
• Dedication to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values.
This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) position, based in Dunedin.
Hours of work are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The appointment range for this role is $61,360 to $65,879.
Top of the range is $71,150 per annum.
