The role/Te mahi This exciting role with an amazing team in the Department of Surgical Sciences is based in the Dunedin Hospital.
The role supports the teaching of the 4th, 5th and/or 6th year medical students alongside support for postgraduate students and other generalist administrative support within the Department.
We are seeking a confident and professional Administrator, passionate about supporting and guiding our community of students, academics and tutors. As an expert in client relationship and communication skills, you build strong relationships with people of all levels. You are a problem solver, forward thinking and committed to collaborative ways of working. Adaptable and flexible, you can work independently and proactively, effectively balancing ever-changing priorities. You will also have:
Demonstrated experience supporting others in an environment with competing work demands.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.
A desire to learn and a commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.
Dedication to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values.
This is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) position, located in Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $59,285 to $63,651.
