We aspire to create a working environment that is inclusive and meets the aspirations of mana whenua ensuring equity for Maori and increasing access for all.Mo te turaka mahi | About the roleThe Administrator is a key member of the School of Midwifery Team providing outstanding service to our kaimahi (staff) and akonga (learners) in the department.As an Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include frontline support such as answering akonga enquiries and varied administration tasks including academic processes support, processing accounts for the area, booking travel, coordinating akonga functions and events, and ensuring the work completed is customer-centred. This is a varied, satisfying office administration role where you'll be part of a successful team that supports each other in a busy environment.The role involves liaison with external stakeholders and secretariat skills in committee organisation and minute taking when required.Ko wai koe | About youOur preferred candidate will be a highly organised, detail-focused, proactive and committed administrator who has highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a positive and productive team attitude. They will have outstanding relationship-building skills which are customer-centred.Excellent skills in word processing, competency with spreadsheet and database use are essential, as are multitasking skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage time effectively along with an active commitment to ensuring that timely services of the highest quality are consistently provided.
