Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, confidential secretarial and administrative support services.

The role/Te mahi We are seeking two proactive, organised and enthusiastic Administrators to join our team supporting the School of Biomedical Sciences.
These roles play a vital function providing high level generalist administration and operational support across undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, working collaboratively and effectively with the wider team.
Other tasks may include supporting front facing reception duties, assisting with transactional finance administration, and coordinating and supporting Human Resources processes.
You will have excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
You are a good communicator with strong attention to detail, and a collaborative and engaging style, able to work with various stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Passionate about accuracy and continuous improvement, you have an eye for details and high level of independence and initiative.
Additional skills required: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.A customer service focus and willingness to be adaptable and flexible.An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff, and visitors.Dedication to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values.We have two permanent roles available.
One is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
The other is 18.75 hours per week for the period January – June, and then for the period July – December the role is 37.5 hours per week; this is the continued work pattern for this role each year.
Both roles are based in Otepoti, Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $61,360 to $65,879.
Top of the range is $71,154 (pro-rata).
