The role/Te mahi
We are seeking a proactive, organised and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as an Administrator in the School of Biomedical Sciences.
In this role, you will play a vital part in providing essential administrative support, welcoming staff and students, and collaborating effectively with your team members.
Key responsibilities may include general administrative services and operational support, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching administration, transactional finance administration, and coordinating and supporting Human Resources processes.

You will have excellent time management and critical thinking skills. You are a good communicator with strong attention to detail, and a collaborative and engaging style, able to work with various stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
You are passionate about accuracy, continuous improvement and have a high level of independence and initiative.
Additional skills required are:
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.
A customer service focus and willingness to be adaptable and flexible.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) position, based in Otepoti, Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $59,285 to $63,651. Top of range is $68,744.
