Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleYou will be responsible for effectively contributing to the smooth running of the Sexual Health / SAATS Service by providing efficient and timely administrative support that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service.SAATS Administrator & Reception – Sexual Health will:Ensure that accurate and timely data is recorded.Ensure the patient / whanau journey through the Health Service is as stress-free as possible for the patient / whanau, achieved in a timely and accurate manner utilizing Health New Zealand patient management systems.Contribute to an efficient sexual health service that relies on data integrity and is customer-focused.Support SAATS contractors across Southern by providing accurate and timely data and management of administrative tasks for this service.Promote an accepting, non-judgemental environment for whanau and stakeholders.About the Team/Service/ LocationHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.

As an experienced administrator, you will be skilled at juggling multiple priorities and able to remain calm under pressure.Our ideal candidate has:Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.Minimum Level 3 NCEA or equivalency.At least 2 years of administration experience.Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (email).High standard of communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for work.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Work completed accurately and to a high standard.Willingness to support and assist other staff as required and work within a team environment.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusionWe want to see the real you in your application and welcome the real you on board if you come and work with us.
