The Nichol's and Willowridge Group of companies are privately owned Otago & Southland based enterprises encompassing over ten key business units involved in a variety of operations including: • Property development & construction • Residential and commercial subdivision construction • Property leasing • Garden retail • Civil contracting and transport.
This hands-on role reports directly to the Group Manager - Accounting and Finance and presents an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to join a very progressive and rapidly expanding multi-business organisation which operates from a small and efficient administration head office in Dunedin.
The position will perform all aspects of general business accounting across the Group, including: • Running month end programs to close/roll accounting periods • Daily cash flow forecasting and receipting • Liaising and building relationships with key internal staff members • Bank reconciliations • Preparing monthly journals and accruals including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts • Preparation and processing of GST returns • Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions • Payroll • Assisting the Group Manager - Accounting and Finance with any other additional duties We are seeking an individual with a broad range of financial accounting and wider business skills across the sectors we operate in, who has; • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in Administration  • Able to multi task and work to deadlines • Keen to implement process improvements • Able to cope with pressure • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel • Strong people skills Send your application in confidence to: Abby Napier – (email protected), applications close 18th November 2024
