As an Administrator for the University of Otago, Christchurch, you will join a team of professionals working across campus within Divisional Services and Administration.
You will become a trusted point of contact for a range of students, staff and visitors, so your strong customer service skills will be an advantage.
Key tasks of this role include:Providing a wide range of administrative support including meeting support, diary management, correspondence and document management, and confidential records management.Using University systems to update databases, extract data, provide reports, transcripts and other relevant information.Coordinating undergraduate and/or postgraduate timetables, examinations and student results.Transactional financial processing including purchase card reconciliation, reimbursements, purchasing and invoicing.Providing pastoral care support to students.Working collaboratively with team members across our different University campuses.We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

The Divisional Services and Administration Team on the Christchurch campus is made up of over 35 highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, effective service delivery and administrative support.
We are a strong supportive whanau mahi (work family) who are proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university, spanning every corner of the motu.
We have multiple permanent positions available on our Christchurch campus ranging from 0.8FTE (30 hours per week) to 1FTE (37.5 hours per week).
The appointments range for this role is $61,360 to $65,879.
Top of the range is $71,150, pro rata.
