(01/03/2025)Our Lady of Lourdes ParishDunedinOur Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is searching for an Administrative Assistant for the Parish Office.
This is a Full-Time, hourly position with benefits.
The hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The position is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the front office and administrative work.Requirements:Practicing Roman Catholic with knowledge of Church teachings and practices, whose lifestyle reflects Church valuesStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsAble to work independentlyAble to maintain confidentialityProficient with computer programs including Excel, Word, and OutlookJob Responsibilities:Prepare office for opening and closingWelcome and assist people who come into the OfficeAnswer phones, taking clear and accurate messagesLiaison with St. Vincent de Paul, hospitals, and nursing homesSchedule funerals and liaison with families and Ministry of ConsolationSacramental Recording in Parish Archive RegistersSchedule Mass IntentionsData Entry: Parish Data System (New Parishioner Registration / Reports) and Facility Scheduler (Scheduling Requests / Reports)Prepare Sunday Liturgy Mass BooksCoordinate Communion ministry to sick and homeboundHandle general correspondence and clerical support as neededPerform other related duties as required.Candidate must successfully pass a Level II FBI background screening and complete Safe Environment Training.We will only respond to those resumes for which we have further interest.
