Administration Support Officer at NZ Ministry of Justice, Hawkes BayTe Haeata/The OpportunityCoroners Court is currently looking for a Hastings based (6 month fixed term, full time) Administration Support Officer.You will be working in a fast-changing environment that will require a high level of agility and resiliency.You will have strong interpersonal skills that will support your work with the coronial case managers and the coroners, but also be capable of dealing with distraught family members in sensitive circumstances.
An ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.You will be expected to provide excellent and highly organised administrative support to case managers and our coroners.
You will need to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Key Skills Required:Work effectively and calmly in stressful situationsBe able to handle viewing photographic coronial materialHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised, great at multi-tasking and able to prioritise effectivelyEnjoy working in a reactive as well as a proactive and fast-paced environmentProfessional and confident phone mannerExceptional record-keeping skills with accurate typing and data entryA good working knowledge of Word, Excel & AdobeAbility to work both with direction and independentlyA desire to learn and adaptRelevant previous experience from other similar rolesAs travel may be required on occasion, you must be able to travel.
