He Korero mo te turanga - About the Role
Are you looking for a challenge? Do you have a "can do" attitude and enjoy being part of a positive, dynamic team? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our administration team within Adult Community Mental Health Services at Tauranga Hospital.
The main purpose of this role is to provide administration support to our Acute Care Team (Crisis, Home Based Treatment and Triage) based at ACMHAS. Scheduling, audio typing and handling/inputting our client's documentation are some of the main elements of the position.
This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to problem solve and think outside the box. It is an important part of a team who work closely together and with multiple stakeholders across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. It will also require a high level of flexibility as it will be providing support across the whole Adult Community Mental Health administration team as required.

This is a permanent, 1.0 FTE position working 80 hours per fortnight.

To be successful in this position you will have the ability to work to a high level and provide excellent customer service. You will be a strong communicator both in verbal and written communication while having well-developed interpersonal skills.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in an administrative position. You will have comprehensive knowledge of patient information systems and have a high level of detail and organisational skills. Advanced keyboard skills and experience with audio typing are a prerequisite of the role.
