Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)Do you have the enthusiasm, dedication and the skills to become an Administration Officer within Ara Poutama Aotearoa, Department of Corrections?This could be just the opportunity you are looking for!We are searching for two Administration Officer to join our Wellington Region Community Corrections team on a  permanent, full-time  basis. One based in Upper Hutt (Railway Avenue) and the other in Wellington (Adelaide Road).  Please highlight within your application which location you are applying for.Mo te tunga | About the roleThis is an opportunity to be part of a great organisation where you will support the Community Corrections team. In this busy role you will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment.Your day-to-day role will see you proactively providing a range of administrative services, including:Reception duties, such as answering phones, taking messages, and greeting visitorsLiaising with organisations and services we work withPreparing documents for courtPurchasing materials and stocktakingProviding support for the management of facilities and assetsRecord management and ensuring correspondence, reports and other documentation meet Department timelines and standardsProvide administration support across a varied team by co-ordinating meetings, external stakeholders relationships and filingOne position is located in the Upper Hutt office, and the other is located within our Wellingon office working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Your hours will also include one late night per week on a rostered and set schedule (for one hour until 6pm).If you have a genuine interest in our kaupapa and if you are motivated to support others in a team environment then we want to hear from you!
