The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the leading organisation responsible for training, developing, accrediting, advocating for and representing psychiatrists across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand within the mental health sector. About the Role

This role provides a high level of administrative support for the New Zealand office, ensuring the needs of RANZCP members are being met. The key part of the role will be providing support for major meetings and recording minutes. Other responsibilities include:

Providing secretariat support for Tu Te Akaaka Roa (New Zealand national committee) and where required, other local college groups.

Scheduling meetings, preparing and distributing agendas.

Assisting in coordinating day-to-day operations including arranging venues and catering, setting up for meetings and ordering office supplies.

This opportunity is permanent, part-time (2 days per week). Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays is essential.

What You'll Bring

Demonstrated experience preparing meeting agendas and recording minutes. The ability to record minutes is an essential criterion and will be assessed in test-form for shortlisted candidates.

Administration/Office Management experience in a similar role.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Commitment to a high-level of customer service with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.

Experience within membership or nonprofit organisations is a plus, along with a passion for driving meaningful change in mental health care.

Australian or New Zealand citizen or holds the right to work in New Zealand.

Salary on offer is pro-rata of NZ$60,000.

A monthly free paid day off for full-time staff, with pro rata benefits for part-time staff.

Gender neutral 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary care givers.
