About the Role Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is seeking an Administration Coordinator for Planned Care Services.
This position is permanent full-time and is based at Tauranga Hospital with regular travel to Whakatane Hospital.
The position provides administrative coordination, direction and support to the Surgical and Medical Services Team.
The position requires you to work closely with consultants, therefore you will need to be comfortable building relationships with specialists, happy with open dialogue and be able to communicate effectively.
About the Team/Service/ Location The team works Monday to Friday and supports the Senior Medical Officers across Surgical and Medical Services.
Being involved with service meetings, taking of minutes, providing rosters in a timely manner and supporting payroll this is a varied role that requires a high level of attention to detail.
About you * Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal * Strong computer and technology skills * Excellent time management skills and high attention to detail * Patient information systems and medical terminology knowledge * Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth * Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
Due to the demands of this position, there will be a requirement for you to act quickly, efficiently and decisively.
