Location: Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital Service/ Department: Community Oral Health Service Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 0.8 Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is dedicated to serving all New Zealanders.

About the Role: We are looking to welcome a highly organised and motivated Administrator to support our Community Oral Health Service.
Based at 208 Avenue Road East, Hastings, this role will provide essential administrative services, focusing on whanau coordination, managing enquiries, operating our patient management system, and supporting the leadership team.
You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, managing your workload while seeking continuous improvement in processes.

You'll be joining a dedicated group of professionals who are passionate about improving oral health outcomes in our community.
About you: We are seeking a candidate who brings: Proven administrative experience with a strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new computerised systems Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
Previous experience in the health sector is an advantage but not essential.
