Transpower owns and operates New Zealand's National Grid - the unique High Voltage transmission network connecting areas of generation with towns and cities across New Zealand.

About the opportunity This fixed term position exists due to parental leave.
You will support and provide operational, financial, and general administrative services within our ICT division.
Administrative services in ICT are covered primarily by two ICT Coordinator roles together with the Executive Assistant to our Executive General Manager Information Services & Technology.
Specific teams within the division are allocated to each of the ICT Coordinators.
Whilst the role encompasses a broad range of administrative support across the wider division, you will work closer with and directly support the teams assigned to you, and the respective managers of those teams.
This role specifically supports our Head of Application Services, their direct report managers, our Head of Digital Strategy and Chief Digital Officer.
We have a well-developed and fully funded multi-year work programme which ultimately supports the accelerated electrification of Aotearoa to enable a sustainable net-zero carbon future.
The context we work in is meaningful, and the work and organisation are both interesting and extremely important.
About you With experience in a similar administrative support role, you will have proven experience in financial administration and coordination with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We are seeking a professional, confident person with a positive 'can do' attitude and high level of proven organisational capability and attention to detail, including working accurately with numbers and financial processes.
You will have well developed and strong relationship management and customer service focus with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
