Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Permanent, half-day vacancy (20 hours per week) ABOUT THE ROLE The Ringa Pukete - Administration Assistant (Records) is responsible for the control and classification of records. Such classification assists in functions such as the creation, organization, storage, retrieval, movement, and destruction or disposal of records. Prior experience in database management with a strong background in file management, change management, physical and digital record-keeping, managing correspondence, and record control classification is required. One year of experience working in paper or electronic record management or data entry positions is desirable. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Knowledge and understanding of the laws relating to record keeping Proficiency with IT software required for digital record keeping Knowledge and understanding of processes needed for paper-based record systems Analysis and reporting skills Experience in a client-based and calendar-led administrative/support role Demonstrated competence in the basic skills needed in a support role High degree of confidentiality Ability to produce high quality documents in an accurate and timely manner Ability to work in changing environments Ability to contribute to developing desk manuals and team knowledge base Important: To apply for this vacancy, you MUST be a New Zealand citizen, reside or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand, and therefore, hold a valid visa.
