Administration and Accounts Support Clerk The New Zealand Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society Inc. (NZCMAS) is a non-profit Chinese Medicine professional organisation.
The Society is currently seeking a part-time Administration and Accounts Support Clerk for the Society's administration and accounts. This role will normally be 16 to 20 hours per week.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver excellent customer service reception whilst multi-tasking with a range of other accounts administrative tasks and office functions.
Reporting directly to the President of the Society, your primary responsibilities will be:
Reception
Members registration
Maintaining and updating members' files
Communicating with stakeholders
Organising seminars, workshops and AGM
Organising Executives and Council meetings
Accounts management includes:
Recording and updating income and expenses
Daily banking float check and bank reconciliation
Month-end reconciliation of creditor and debtor's ledgers
Daily credit control with weekly reporting on outstanding issues
Reporting on AR & AP
Prepare GST return and Annual Financial Report for an accountant to check
Monthly reports to the NZCMAS Council.
Other admin tasks
A New Zealand qualification relevant to Administration and Accounting with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and reception is required.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work in an environment that allows your customer service personality to shine whilst delivering efficient and excellent care to our patients.
You will need to demonstrate that you can work effectively with a range of members who have diverse cultural backgrounds.
