We are looking for someone who is committed, organised and has experience in delivering services to vulnerable customers.
In this role you will manage a team of staff to deliver Adaptations services to our customers. You will play a key role in meeting WDH corporate and Team objectives by delivering on Key Performance Indicators.
What you'll be doing
You will work closely with the Senior Occupational Therapist, Senior Administration Officers, Adaptations Administration Team and the Adaptations and Wellbeing Manager, to ensure service delivery is effectively maintained. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting partnerships with the local authority, NHS trusts, voluntary and third sector organisations to complement the connecting care agenda in Wakefield.
Contributing to the setting of targets for the Adaptations Team and monitoring performance to achieve continuous service excellence; ensuring that performance and service standards are met in line with organisational requirements and contractual obligations.
Undertaking specific project management initiatives as required, relating to policy or service development initiatives.
Carrying out appraisals and management support meetings with team members.
What we're looking for
To join our Adaptations Team, we're looking for someone with:
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
Strong leadership skills and experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
A sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
An understanding of change management.
