About the role | Mo te mahi
The Actuarial Analyst role within the NHC Actuarial & Forecasting team:

assists the Manager and Senior Actuarial Analyst in providing data, insights, and advice to progress our organisational strategies.
supports the production of regular actuarial reporting/valuations, including working directly with external actuaries and auditors.
facilitates the provision of timely and accurate information to our broker and reinsurers.
participates in the development of NHC's actuarial and loss modelling capabilities.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

A relevant Tertiary Qualification and an interest in Actuarial science.
Commitment to studying towards an actuarial qualification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and advanced computer skills.
Experience analysing large datasets and writing reports.
Ability to plan, manage relationships, and work independently.
