Job Description At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents.

We are looking for an energetic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our Cambridge village.
Ideally you will have experience in events, hospitality or aged care, but more important to us will be your genuine love for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
You will plan and facilitate a programme of activities and exciting events for our residents, providing quality resident support, managing vulnerable residents and communications with families.
You will need to be kind, patient and have great communication skills, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best exercise programmes, regular outings, sporting and recreational events.
You will also have the ability to work  a minimum of 80 hours per fortnight, Some evening and weekend work To recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer: an enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part of health cover (if applicable), social sporting teams and discounts at a range of suppliers plus much more.

Qualifications Positive "can-do" attitude that fosters harmonious relationships with staff and residents.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and inspiring others.
Genuine interest in working with older people and a positive outlook on aging.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); event management or hospitality experience is a plus.
A current first aid certificate and valid driver's license are required.
Additional Information Due to NZ Immigration requirements we are obliged to consider candidates that already have the right to work in NZ for this role first.
