Active Mokopuna

Details of the offer

Join our team as the part-time Active Mokopuna Coordinator and help shape the future of our tamariki! Based in the vibrant communities of Gisborne and Uawa, you'll be bringing fun, movement, and healthy habits to the lives of 0-4-year-olds. Imagine leading playful activities that get little feet moving and curious minds learning about healthy eating – all while working with early childhood centres, Te Kohanga Reo, and whanau. If you're passionate about empowering communities through active play and love being a positive influence, this role is for you!
We're looking for someone with big energy, great communication skills, and a love for teamwork. You'll be collaborating with local educators and whanau to help them bring out the best in their tamariki, while promoting the benefits of active movement and healthy lifestyles. If you're skilled at building strong relationships, thrive in a community-focused environment, and understand the importance of Te Reo me ona Tikanga, we'd love to hear from you! Plus, you get to be part of a programme that's all about creating fun, meaningful change – what could be better?
This role is 20 hours per week.
Applications close Wednesday 6 November 5pm.
