Certification body activities include licensing products, auditing quality or Information Security management systems, and issuing certificates of conformity.
Inspection bodies undertake various types of professional inspections and issue inspection reports.The system of accreditation provides for a consistent, robust, and reliable use of conformity assessment to international standards and norms.
Using internationally recognised frameworks reduces regulatory costs, increases consistency and quality, and facilitates international trade.JASANZ employees have the passion to make a difference, are driven to deliver the highest quality accreditation services, and thrive in an environment of positive change and continuous improvement.About the RoleCanberra (Australia) or Wellington (New Zealand) basedFull-time, 38 - 40 hours, with some workplace flexibilityPurposeJoin the team as an Accreditation Services Administrator and support the implementation of JASANZ's values, strategy, and processes.
You'll play a crucial role in assisting Accreditation Services managers and conformity assessment bodies with their assessments, while contributing to the continuous improvement of their internal systems and organisational learning.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule and coordinate assessment activities.Maintain records and databases.Support administrative systems.Ensure uniform application of accreditation administrative processes.Liaise with the public regarding general enquiries about conformity assessment and accreditation.Provide coordination and administrative support for meetings.Experience, Skills, and QualificationsA diploma or degree in business administration, management, or a related field is advantageous.Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within accreditation or quality assurance environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.What We OfferCompetitive salary - $75,520 - $80,520 + % KiwiSaverLearning and development opportunities$200 Health & Wellbeing subsidyChristmas to New Year's: 3 days leave for 1 Annual Leave dayEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)To ApplyJASANZ welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and values diversity and inclusion in their workplace.
