We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented accounts professional to join our Queenstown based finance team.
As our NZSki Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will play a critical role in managing our seasonal accounts receivable team, supporting the on-mountain operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Employed by Trojan Holdings, this role is primarily based within the NZSki finance team, working with both our winter and summer operations.
NZSki operate some of New Zealand's best ski areas across Coronet Peak and The Remarkables in Queenstown and Mt Hutt in Canterbury.
Additionally, there will be opportunities to work with a diverse range of Trojan-owned companies during the summer months, across various sectors, including tourism, transport, and property, including iconic tourism brands such as Ultimate Hikes, The Hermitage Hotel and KJet.
About the Role General ledger reconciliations and journal postings.
Bank reconciliations.
Administration and management of agent and customer accounts, including credit control.
Accurate data entry of accounts receivable invoices and dealing with invoice inquiries.
Assist in the development and delivery of training plans for the NZSki seasonal finance team.
Internal audit and working with the on-mountain departments with process improvements.
F&B/Retail Stocktake procedures.
Assisting with Accounts Payable function, as required.
About You Proficient in Microsoft Excel and prior experience with general ledger systems.
Strong administrative/accounts background and robust numerical skills.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Positive and proactive attitude, always looking for ways to improve what we do.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment, with the ability to lead a team of three during the winter months.
A sense of fun and a personable manner will be a great fit for our supportive team culture.
