The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tauira (students) and miscellaneous financial records, providing accurate and timely information to tauira, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process financial transactions within required timeframes.Perform data entry and process invoices efficiently.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.Deliver financial insights and forecasts to support decision-making.Evaluate financial risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.We are looking for someone that has: Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills to provide clear and timely information to tauira.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of relevant financial policies and regulations.As a kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
