The Role
Reporting to our Company Accountant, this is a vital role in our Finance Team. Here's how you'll make a difference:
Accounts Receivable
Own the Accounts Receivable process from start to finish, ensuring claims, invoices, and customer statements are seamless.
Maintain accurate documentation and work closely with staff on credit control and overdue account monitoring.
Preparing journals and assisting with month-end reports.
Metal (Gravel) Stock Management
Manage monthly stock reports, process production quantities and adjust as needed.
Oversee pricing in the Accredo inventory system and lead our quarterly stock survey process.
Other Tasks
Step in at Reception and process Yard Sales when needed.
Help team members with timesheet queries.
Split your time between our Greymouth office (two days) and our Hokitika office (three days) per week for a dynamic work experience.
Take on any additional admin tasks to support the team.
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
5+ years experience in Accounts Receivable or Office Administration.
Strong numerical skills, intermediate Excel proficiency, and great attention to detail.
An understanding of Accounting Principles.
A flexible, adaptable approach and a strong commitment to customer service.
A passion for learning, problem solving and a willingness to pitch in when needed.
