Accounts Receivable

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team at Best Buy in Nelson, NZ. As an Accounts Receivable specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded. This entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:- Process incoming payments from customers- Reconcile payments with invoices and ensure accuracy- Follow up on overdue accounts and send out reminders- Work closely with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions- Assist with month-end closing procedures- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers Requirements:- 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related field- Resourceful and confident personality traits- Strong cooperation and adaptability skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred Benefits:- Vision insurance- Company transportation- Profit sharing Working Environment:At Best Buy, we leverage data to inform decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
