If you thrive in a varied role and enjoy working with people, this opportunity is for you.About the role:As an integral part of our support team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:Accounts receivable credit control – invoice processing and follow-upAdministrative duties - including insurance and purchasingCustomer account setup – processing account applications and entering into accounting systemPayment processing and reconciliation – receipting customer payments and reconciling with bankBusiness support – data entry and follow up for operations and QHSE teamsWeekly and monthly credit reportingOur ideal candidate will have:Accounting experience – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Financial AccountingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelExperience with Accounting Systems such as Xero, Reckon or NetSuiteStrong attention to detailHighly organised with good time management skills to meet strict deadlinesExcellent communicator to work with a range of both internal and external peopleSelf-motivated and results-driven, even under pressureProficient at data entry and mathematicsExcellent command of English, with good grammar, spelling, and punctuationA pleasant and confident telephone mannerThe ability to work closely with the team to meet client deadlinesA proactive and positive attitude, ready to tackle any taskA postgraduate in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics would be favorable.Why join us?Work in a comfortable friendly environmentEnjoy a work-life balance with flexible hoursBased in our Hawera support office with occasional travel to work alongside our New Plymouth team.Great team with exceptional valuesBenefits:Four weeks paid leave and KiwiSaver contributionsPaid trainingCareer growth: Full and ongoing training provided to support your professional developmentDon't meet every requirement?Don't worry if you don't tick every box.
