Job Description About the roleAs the Accounts Receivable Administrator for Proactive, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operation of efficient and accurate billing, credit control, and receipting processes within the organization.The position's main responsibilities are: To ensure invoices are produced accurately in an effective and efficient manner to agreed timelines, in line with the company policies and agreed charges.
The collection of outstanding invoices from our funders, insurers, companies and clients, ensuring timely payment thereof.
Completion of daily ACC payment schedules, including the analysis and resolution of ACC held payments related to billing errors.
Receipting and bank reconciliation of payments received into the bank account.
To work cohesively with the entire finance team to ensure that the highest priority tasks are actioned, regardless of job descriptions or other less important tasks.
This is a permanent position for 56 hours per fortnight and is located at our Corporate Offices in Wellington.
Desired Skills and Experience About youAs the Accounts Receivable Administrator, it would be desirable if you had previous experience of billing and credit control.You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and experiences: Have NCEA Level 3 or higher Good numeracy skills Strong IT skills Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies.
