Accounts Payable Officer - Part Time

Eye Institute is a leading provider of ophthalmic care and ophthalmic surgery, offering patients the latest vision correction technology, with practices located in Remuera, Manukau, Northcote, New Lynn, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and BlenheimThis is a part time role for 24-30 hours a week, and we are seeking an enthusiastic, technically savvy, and experienced Accounts Payable Officer with great attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: Accounts payable duties such as business banking, invoice and payment processing, staff reimbursement, and reconciliationManagement of the accounts payable email accountMaintain and update suppliers' records to ensure details are current and accurateAccruals, journal entries and recurring templates Maintaining good records for supplier documents, invoices and other payments Preparing analysis of accounts and producing monthly reports To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following competencies and attributes: 3+ years accounts payable experience is preferableAbility to multi-task and prioritise so all tasks are completed in a timely mannerExcellent attention to detail and accuracy and comfortable with high volumes of transactionsAbility to pick up systems quickly – previous experience with VIP, Xero and Dext would be advantageous Good mathematical skills to complete calculationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel High level problem-solving skills with a great focus on standards and complianceIf this sounds like you, please apply through Seek by sending your CV with a cover letter, outlining your suitability and reasons for interest in this role.
