Role Purpose
The Accounts Payable Officer plays an important role in maintaining smooth financial operations by managing transactions, building positive relationships with suppliers and Cost Centre Managers, and supporting the wider Finance team. You'll be responsible for high-volume data entry, payment processing, and bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.
This role is fixed term until the end of August 2025 and is a full-time position, Monday – Friday with the flexibility to work from home a few times a week.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume accounts payable invoices and perform supplier reconciliations.
Facilitate supplier payments using Esker, QAD (ERP system), amongst others.
Handle daily bank transactions and support month-end reconciliation.
Set up and amend supplier/beneficiary details, manage bank balances, and conduct multi-currency transfers.
Build positive relationships with suppliers and Cost Centre Managers.
What You'll Bring
Prior experience within accounts payable with a strong attention to detail and high processing accuracy.
Experience with AP processing software and the ability to pick up new digital systems quickly.
Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
You will be providing daily financial support to your stakeholders so being customer focused is a must.
Experience processing in a variety of currencies and a basic knowledge of accounts receivable would be advantageous.
You will be authentic, accountable, adaptable, and will be a problem solver.
