The Opportunity; We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer to join Ritchies, at our Head Office in Swanson. This role reports into our Accounts Payable Team Leader. This role provides effective and timely resolution of accounts payable issues and prompt payment of all invoices. You will work alongside Accounting Administrators, completing Accounts Payable transaction processing, including maintaining master data, processing invoices, making payments, follow-up and resolution of queries & exceptions, and liaising with business users and vendors as required. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic AP experience wanting a challenge in an exciting commercial enterprise. You will also get exposure to AR if/when needed. About Us; Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand's leading passenger transport companies, with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country. We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies' history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model. About You; You've got experience using SAP Business One or tier 1 or 2 ERP systems, you're great with technology and pick up systems quickly. You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills. You're organised and methodical, but also able to have a laugh and join a team that likes to have fun whilst getting their job done. You're a great team player and can communicate with a variety of people and groups in a concise and easy-to-understand manner. You take health and safety seriously and are an advocate for its importance.
