Position Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Key Responsibilities: Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in an accurate and timely manner.Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.Review invoices for discrepancies and resolve any issues with vendors or internal departments.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies promptly.Maintain vendor records and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues.Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger.Assist with other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications: Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role, preferably in a retailProficiency in accounting software (SAP) and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.If this sounds like you, please apply online today!
