About the role We're in the midst of transitioning some of our roles back to New Zealand and as a result, now have an Accounts Payable Officer position available based at our Mount Wellington, Auckland site. This position covers both our Australian and NZ payables ledgers and is a full time, permanent position.
As an Accounts Payable Officer at Invacare, your duties will include:
Ensure accurate processing of all supplier invoices and credit notes Manage accounts payable transactions using JD Edwards and HSBCnet Administer and process payments weekly, monthly and manually on an ad-hoc basis, to both local and overseas suppliers (third party and inter-company) Reconcile creditors accounts to statements Prepare account applications for new supplier accounts, monitor credit limits and manage disputes Match supplier invoices to purchase orders, packing slips and GRNI, and check prices and other details to ensure correct for stock purchases Reconcile Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) accounts and related statements. Review GRNI reports for outstanding items versus vendor statements Manage expense administration via company Concur system About you You will bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-volume Account Payable role, ideally have experience using an integrated ERP system such as JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics or similar and are competent in Excel.
You're highly organised, detail and accuracy focused and understand the importance of following processes and procedures, with an ability to problem solve quickly to reach favourable outcomes. You'll bring a high degree of professionalism and can communicate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships.
