Accounts Payable

Job Description: Airgas is seeking a dedicated and driven Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions for the company. This is a part-time position with an Associate level of seniority and requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable. Responsibilities:- Review and verify invoices and check requests- Sort, code and match invoices- Set invoices up for payment- Enter and upload invoices into system- Track expenses and process expense reports- Prepare and perform check runs- Reconcile accounts payable transactions- Prepare analysis of accounts- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date- Resolve invoice discrepancies- Maintain vendor files- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries- Assist with month-end closing Requirements:- 4+ years of experience in accounts payable- Strong project management skills- High emotional intelligence- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Strong organizational skills- Ability to meet deadlines- Excellent communication skills- Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred Benefits:- Profit sharing- Relocation allowance- Visa sponsorship Working Environment:At Airgas, we strive for a harmonious workplace where collaboration and respect prevail.
