The Position: This is a permanent, full-time position, based on Auckland's North Shore and reports to a supportive Finance team Leader.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team.
This new role is domiciled at our Head Office in Albany and is based onsite Monday to Friday.
The key responsibilities of this role include: Maintaining Accounts Payable Email folder.Checking and distributing of invoices for approvalEntering approved invoices into the in-house job costing system, or by direct input.Liaising with branches to maintain integrity of the purchase order systems and workflow.Reconciling supplier statements – progressing disputed / missing invoicesMaintaining and updating supplier database, and processing supplier account applications, ensuring correct set up in the Financial system.Undertaking payment of local / international suppliers by direct creditGeneral / Additional dutiesAd hoc projectsThe successful candidate will demonstrate: Excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenIntermediate Excel skills and good competence in Word and OutlookGood accounting knowledge and previous Oracle experience would be advantageousA high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent reconciliation and analysis abilityThe ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach and a willingness to learnProactive approach and enjoyment of achieving agreed goals.Strong organisational and time management skillsWe can offer: An excellent work environmentA salary which reflects the responsibilities of the roleAn Employee Benefits Program that provides life and income protection insurancePaid Birthday and volunteering leaveFull training and supportFree onsite parkingAn excellent team atmosphere where people come firstAccess to free and confidential EAP Services?
