Our campus is tailored to provide an excellent learning environment for students, delivering both Cambridge and NZ Curriculums.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join our school team. This role is not only focused on transactional accounting but also emphasises exceptional customer interaction and service. The ideal candidate will engage with customers to manage accounts receivable, ensure timely payments, and resolve any inquiries related to their accounts. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with our customers while ensuring accurate financial records.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and bank reconciliation.Monitor outstanding debts and follow up on overdue accounts for timely collection.Engage with customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions to address billing inquiries.Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and transactions.Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging for internal stakeholders.Support month-end closing activities.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards while maintaining a customer-centric approach.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Experience working in an accounting or finance role – at least 2 years.Proven experience in administration and customer services.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent written and oral communication – ability to communicate with a diverse range of financial and non-financial stakeholders.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
